Elf was born on April 8, 2010 and joined us nine weeks later, on June 9.

New photos added from time to time, most recently in late October, 2010. She turned 6 months old on Oct. 8.

[Two added on September 20 show her face some hours after it swelled tremendously following an insect bite. She had to spend the afternoon in the vet hospital, then came home to sleep the antihistimines off. Her nose was still puffed up in the two low-light photos of her beneath the kitchen table. Within 30 minutes after the bite her face resembled a bloodhound's on steroids. Her gums had even swelled so much they were over her teeth and wouldn't move.]
